Q: Is there a minimum order amount?
A: There is a $30.00 minimum order limit for online/web orders. Any order we receive with a Order Total under $30.00 (*total includes shipping and handling) is subject to a $3.00 under limit charge. You will be notified within the confirmation e-mail that your order is total amount under limit. Please notice that, under limit orders will still be processed as a usual online order.
Q: Is there a surcharge for using credit cards?
A: There is no ‘surcharge’ for using credit cards, and there is no ‘discount’ for paying cash/check. Credit card customers MUST complete and return to Advanced PC Products the Credit Card Authorization form before any order can ship.
Q: I am needing a product that is not listed in your inventory. Can you special order it?
A: Advanced PC Products can special order almost anything. Special order items are Subject to the following conditions:
1. Product must be pre-paid.
2. Manufacturer warranty only applies. Advanced PC can not honor its normal 1 year over the counter warranty.
3. No returns for credit/replacement. Please make sure the product will fulfill your needs.
Q: Does Advanced PC Products offer leasing?
A: Advanced PC Products can help arrange business leasing through several 3rd party finance companies. Please give us a call for details (800-944-4937) or e-mail sales here . Note; we cannot lease to individuals.


Q: How do I set up an account with Advanced PC Products, Inc.?
A: Simply fill out the New Customer Setup Form located on our website and either fax it to (972) 241-0916 or email it to customerservice@advpc.com. We will respond promptly with your customer number. You may then begin placing orders on the website or via telephone with one of our knowledgeable sales staff.
Q: I am a VAR, how do I ensure that I am not charged Sales Tax?
A: Simply fill out the Texas Resale Certificate located on our website and fax it to (972) 241-0916 or email it to customerservice@advpc.com. (Copies of your Sales and Use Tax Permit will not be accepted.
Q: I work for a non-profit organization, how do I ensure that I am not charged Sales Tax?
A: Simply fill out the Texas Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certificate located on our website and fax it to (972) 241-0916 or email it to customerservice@advpc.com. (Letters will not be accepted).
Q: I would like to pay by credit card, how do I do this?
A: Simply fill out the Credit Card Authorization form located on our website and fax it to (972) 241-0916 or email it to customerservice@advpc.com. If your products are being shipped, your credit card will be charged and a copy of your receipt will be sent with your packages. If you will be picking up your products, your transaction will be processed when you arrive.
Q: How do I set up a Net Term account with Advanced PC Products, Inc.?
A: Fill out the Credit Application form located on our website and fax it to (972) 241-0916 or email it to customerservice@advpc.com. Please be sure to fill it out completely as any omissions will delay processing time. We will get back to you with a response within 7-14 working days depending on your bank.


Q: How long does it take to ship a system?
A: Generally we require 24-72 hours to assemble and test a desktop system, and within a week to assemble and test a server. However, if there are any complications with the testing process or if an item is out of stock, it may be delayed further. We do not process orders on weekends, therefore any orders placed over the weekend will be processed the following business day.
Q: What if I need a service immediately?
A: We have same day or next day services with an additional labor fee. Most same day orders can be picked up after 2:00 P.M. or shipped out on the same day they are placed. Next day usually can be picked up after 9:00 A.M. or shipped out on the day after the order is placed.
Q: Where can I find my Sales Order Number and Operating System Product Key?
Your Sales Order Number and Operating System Product Key are located at the right bottom corner on the right side cover of your case. Your Sales Order Number starts from SO# and is followed by a six-digit number.
Q: What is the difference between OEM and Retail versions?
A: The OEM and retail versions usually will have the same exact product. However, the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) versions will come with the actual product and usually the drivers, no special packaging or software. The retail version usually will come with bundled software and retail packaging. Occasionally the retail version will accompany a longer warranty.
Q: Do you update Windows?
A: Yes. We run Windows Update for all the operating systems we install.
Q: How can I reach Technical Support?

Q: When will my order ship?
A: Parts orders usually ship the same day if placed by 4:30 CT. If anything is on “Back Order” Advanced PC will do its best to advise the customer. Normally, “Back Orders” can be filled within 1 to 2 days.
System orders usually ship within 3 days of the order being placed. Quantities ordered will affect build/ship time. The customer will be advised of an estimated ship date.
Servers usually ship within 3 to 5 days of order depending on the configuration. Single processor servers (P4 or AMD) will ship usually in about 3 days. Xeon based servers ship in about 5 days. Expedited build/shipping may be available at a nominal charge. Please contact your consultant.
Q: What if my product is on back order?
A: If you place an order for an item that is on back order, we will ship the product as soon as it is available. Your sales representative will contact you if there is any problem with your order.
Q: What if my order was missing items?
A: First, be sure you have checked the entire contents of the boxes. Second, please check if there is any serial number under the missing item on your copy of the Advanced PC Sales Order. Third, contact Advanced PC Products, Inc.
Note: All claims regarding shortage must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
Q: What if my order has damaged items?
A: Contact our RMA Department and ask for a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
